Life at CatalystOne: Meeting Magdalena Radlowska, Our New Technical Consultant
Every so often, someone joins CatalystOne and settles in so naturally that you forget they are new. That is exactly what happened with Magdalena.
She joined us recently as a Technical Consultant and brought along a mix of curiosity, calm confidence and a genuine love for learning new things. Within just a few weeks, she already felt like part of the fabric here.
A career that took a few interesting turns
Magdalena’s journey into tech was not a straight line. She actually started out in accounting before realising she had a real passion for solving technical challenges. That spark led her to IT courses and later into roles in solution architecture and implementation. So when CatalystOne crossed her path, something clicked. She recognised the product, liked what she learned about the company and could see herself thriving here. So, she took the leap.
Workdays powered by variety
Ask Magdalena what her average workday looks like and she will tell you there is no such thing as average. Some days are all about APIs, SSO setup and diving into documentation. Other days are filled with customer meetings, data tasks or helping solve a support case. It is varied, meaningful and never repetitive, which suits her perfectly.
Onboarding in CatalystOne
One of the things she appreciated most when she joined was how genuinely down to earth everyone was. No stiff introductions or forced formality. People were kind, relaxed and genuinely interested in getting to know her. She was also happily surprised that the project work felt very familiar, almost like returning to the kind of assignments she loved earlier in her career. That combination of solving problems and working closely with customers is exactly her sweet spot.
A team that backs you from day one
Even though she is still new, Magdalena already has moments she is proud of. Getting her first customer project, even a small one, felt like a milestone worth celebrating. Her team has supported her every step of the way too. Whether she needed system access, internal documentation or someone to answer a growing list of questions, there was always someone ready to help.
Life outside work: cake, family and a very curious cat
When she is not diving into technical tasks, Magdalena can usually be found in the kitchen. Baking has become one of her passions, and her cakes are so good that friends now place orders.
Most of her free time is spent with her five year old daughter, and the family cat also insists on being involved in kitchen activities, usually sitting in the middle of everything.
She also loves travelling, planning trips and exploring new places whenever life allows.
Thinking about joining?
Magdalena’s message to anyone considering CatalystOne is simple. You will not regret it. Expect lots of laughter, plenty of warmth and colleagues who genuinely want to see you succeed. And if you are lucky, you might even get to try one of her cakes.
