AI Business Partner
Help decide how over 250 people will work tomorrow.
AI is already changing how work gets done at CatalystOne. We're looking for someone who can identify the opportunities worth pursuing, improve the underlying processes, and help build an AI Hub that creates measurable value across the business.
The whole company is your remit, the work is already underway, and we're small enough that something you shape can be live in weeks. This is an opportunity to help build an AI practice from the beginning and influence how more than 250 people work.
At CatalystOne, we help organisations create better workplaces through HR technology. Across the Nordics, we combine technology, people expertise and business understanding to help customers improve how work gets done. We're now applying the same thinking internally as we continue to expand how AI supports our own organisation.
About the AI Hub
The AI Hub is a new function within People & Technology, created to help CatalystOne identify, prioritise and realise the value of AI across the business.
We don't see AI as purely a technology topic. Introducing AI changes how work is organised, what people need to learn, and where human judgement matters most. We want those conversations considered together, close to the people doing the work.
The purpose of the AI Hub is to bring together process improvement, organisational change and technology to help teams work better and deliver stronger outcomes. As our AI Business Partner, you'll help shape how this function develops and where it focuses its efforts.
The role
Your focus is how CatalystOne itself operates: the processes our consultants, support teams, sales organisation and back-office functions use every day.
AI adoption is already broad across the company, and we have solutions in production today. Requests for new initiatives now arrive from every part of the business. We need someone who can work out which opportunities are worth pursuing, improve the process behind them, and ensure the result is adopted and delivers the value we expected.
You'll run the intake process together with the IT Manager, helping decide where the AI Hub should focus its efforts. You'll spend time with the people doing the work, understanding how it happens today, where the bottlenecks are, and what should change before anything gets built.
Sometimes the answer will be AI. Sometimes it will be a better process. Often it will be both.
Some examples of what is already live
This isn't a greenfield AI initiative. We already have solutions creating value across CatalystOne today, including:
An AI support agent that resolves around a fifth of internal IT tickets before they reach the IT team.
Data products that save consultants time and provide business insights we didn't previously have.
Automated workflows that reduce manual administration and move information seamlessly between teams.
The AI Hub exists to build on that foundation, helping CatalystOne identify the next opportunities, improve how work gets done, and ensure new solutions deliver measurable business value.
What you'll do
You'll typically have a small number of initiatives running at the same time. For each one, you'll work with the department involved to understand the current process, establish a baseline, define what success looks like and help determine the best way forward.
Your work will include:
Prioritising opportunities that create meaningful business value.
Mapping processes and identifying root causes rather than treating symptoms.
Working directly with colleagues to understand how work really gets done.
Helping teams adapt when new solutions are introduced.
Leading our AI Champion Network and supporting AI adoption across the company.
Measuring outcomes and following through when adoption or results fall short.
You'll work closely with the AI Operations Engineer throughout every initiative. Together you'll assess opportunities before committing to them. They lead technical design, engineering and operations. You lead process improvement, organisational adoption and value measurement. Both of you stay involved after launch.
What we're looking for
We're less interested in your exact background than the impact you've had improving how work gets done.
You'll likely bring:
Experience improving business processes and delivering measurable results.
Strong business understanding and the ability to see how work flows across teams and functions.
Confidence building baselines, challenging assumptions and measuring outcomes.
Experience working with stakeholders and helping people navigate change.
Curiosity about AI and a practical understanding of where it can create value and where it can't.
Enough technical understanding to discuss solutions and implementation approaches, even if you're not the person building them.
The ability to balance analytical thinking with empathy, bringing people with you as ways of working evolve.
You may have gained this experience in business analysis, operations, organisational development, HR transformation, agile coaching, change management or a similar field.
What success looks like
The first month is about understanding CatalystOne and how work happens across the business.
By month two, you'll begin taking ownership of the AI Champion Network and help manage the flow of opportunities entering the AI Hub.
By day 90, we'd like to see one or two key business processes thoroughly mapped, agreed baselines established with the owning departments, and clear recommendations on what should happen next.
Getting the first cases right matters more than getting them done quickly.
Why join CatalystOne?
This is an opportunity to help build an AI practice from the beginning while working at the intersection of business, people and technology.
You'll have the chance to:
Influence how nearly 250 colleagues work.
Help shape a new function at an exciting stage of its development.
Work directly with stakeholders across the business.
See ideas move from concept to reality quickly.
Combine process improvement, organisational change and AI in a role with visible impact.
Benefits
As well as your salary, you’ll receive:
Generous time off: A solid vacation allowance so you can recharge and regroup.
Financial and health security: A comprehensive pension and insurance package, including private healthcare.
Your well being, your way: A wellness contribution to help you stay on top of your health.
Tech tools for efficiency: Laptop, mobile phone with subscription, and a home internet allowance.
Flexible work setup: A hybrid model that supports your work life balance, with at least three days a week in the office.
And more: Local benefits vary slightly by office, and we are happy to walk you through the details.
If you're curious about how organisations work and excited by the opportunity to combine people, process and AI to create meaningful change, we'd love to hear from you.

Fair Screening in our Recruitment process
To promote fairness and reduce unconscious bias, candidates are anonymised during the initial screening stage. This means applications are reviewed based on skills, experience, and relevance to the role – not personal characteristics. Once shortlisted, recruiters review the full candidate profile and engage directly with candidates throughout the process.
Use of AI
We use AI‑supported tools in parts of our recruitment process to help structure and summarise applications, support screening, and transcribe interviews. These tools assist our recruiters but do not make decisions on their own – all evaluations and hiring decisions are made by people.
