Senior Product Manager
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of a strategic product area in our HCM platform, based in Stockholm or Oslo. You'll help shape where we go next. Curious? Read on.
CatalystOne is in an exciting phase of product development. We are evolving our HCM platform, and re-imagining how AI, data and new technology can fundamentally improve how organisations manage, develop and engage their people.
HR technology is changing rapidly. AI is transforming both how software is built and what customers expect from it. HR leaders increasingly expect technology not simply to store information and digitise processes, but to provide insights, recommendations and intelligent assistance that help them make better decisions.
For a Senior Product Manager, that creates an opportunity to influence products at the point where important choices are being made, rather than joining to maintain an established roadmap.
What a day can look like here
At CatalystOne, seniority in Product Management is about the scope of your ownership, the quality of your judgment and your ability to create impact. As a Senior Product Manager, some of your day-to-day tasks will be:
Owning the product strategy and direction for your product area, aligned with our overall company and product strategy.
Developing a deep understanding of customers, users, the market, competitors, technology and relevant industry trends.
Identifying and prioritising the most important customer problems and business opportunities, and defining clear outcomes and success measures.
Maintaining continuous contact with customers and users to understand their needs, workflows and desired outcomes, and validating assumptions early before committing significant development capacity.
Leading the product trio together with Product Design and Engineering, making sure the team understands the problem, the outcome and the constraints rather than simply receiving feature requirements.
Driving progress from opportunity through discovery, development, launch, adoption and iteration.
Owning the performance of your product area after launch, not simply the delivery of functionality, and tracking the product, customer, adoption and business metrics that matter.
Partnering with Product Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to bring products to market, and helping define positioning, value propositions and key use cases.
Creating clarity and alignment across teams and stakeholders, and constructively challenging assumptions along the way.
How the role works
You'll work with a dedicated cross-functional team, sitting close to a UX designer and a Tech Lead, and collaborating with other Product Managers where customer journeys span several parts of the platform.
We expect you to operate with a high degree of autonomy and make well-informed product decisions. That also means spending meaningful time with customers, understanding product usage and data, working with commercial teams, and keeping a strong grip on the market and competitive landscape. Expect some travel between our Nordic offices and time in customer meetings.
We also expect our product teams to actively adopt AI in their daily work. AI should help us research faster, explore more alternatives, prototype earlier, analyse information more effectively and ultimately build better products faster.
We think you will thrive here if you have
Significant experience in Product Management, at least five years, preferably within B2B SaaS, enterprise software or another complex software environment.
Demonstrated experience owning a substantial product area or complex product initiatives.
Strong market and user research skills, and the ability to turn insight into clear requirements.
Solid delivery skills, including roadmap planning, sprint planning and working closely with a team to execute.
Commercial understanding, including pricing, business success metrics and user adoption metrics.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
The ability to navigate ambiguity and make good decisions without perfect information.
Curiosity about technology, and experience working with AI both in products and in product development.
A creative streak and strong opinions. We're looking for someone with a genuine drive to build something good, and that should show.
Bonus points for
Experience from HR technology or HCM.
Some technical understanding, whether that's architecture, programming languages or having written code yourself.
Experience from international companies or distributed Nordic teams.
If you're excited about the role but don't meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply. We are primarily looking for people with strong product judgment, curiosity, ownership and the ability to create meaningful customer and business impact.
What it's like to work with us
We are a market leader in the Nordics, serving complex organisations with demanding requirements for security, data and integrations, and we're investing significantly in the next generation of our platform with ambitions to grow internationally.
We believe the best products are created by strong, empowered cross-functional teams. We want teams to understand the problems and outcomes they own, rather than simply execute predefined feature specifications.
You will report directly to the CPO and work closely with Product leadership, with real influence on where our products and technology go next.
Where you'll be based
This role can be based at our Stockholm or Oslo office in a hybrid setup, and the engineering team is located in Stockholm. Our working language is English.
What you get from us
As well as your salary, you’ll receive:
Generous time off: A solid vacation allowance so you can recharge and regroup.
Financial and health security: A comprehensive pension and insurance package, including private healthcare.
Your well being, your way: A wellness contribution to help you stay on top of your health.
Tech tools for efficiency: Laptop, mobile phone with subscription, and a home internet allowance.
Flexible work setup: A hybrid model that supports your work life balance, with at least three days a week in the office.
And more: Local benefits vary slightly by office, and we are happy to walk you through the details.

Fair Screening in our Recruitment process
To promote fairness and reduce unconscious bias, candidates are anonymised during the initial screening stage. This means applications are reviewed based on skills, experience, and relevance to the role – not personal characteristics. Once shortlisted, recruiters review the full candidate profile and engage directly with candidates throughout the process.
Use of AI
We use AI‑supported tools in parts of our recruitment process to help structure and summarise applications, support screening, and transcribe interviews. These tools assist our recruiters but do not make decisions on their own – all evaluations and hiring decisions are made by people.
