Lead Product Designer
Lead the evolution of a design system supporting a platform used by 500,000+ people. Help shape how our products work and scale over time.
As Lead Product Designer for Design System and Global Patterns at CatalystOne, you will lead the next evolution of our design system, shaping the visual language, interaction patterns, and shared foundations that connect every product across our platform. You’ll lead the modernisation of our SaaS platform built over more than twenty years, shaping a more consistent, accessible, and intuitive experience for over half a million users.
This is a hands-on player-coach role where you will combine strategic leadership with practical design work. You will design and evolve our shared component library, define scalable interaction patterns, and work closely with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation across the product. Rather than managing people directly, you will lead through expertise, collaboration, and influence, helping product teams make better design decisions while raising the overall quality of the user experience.
Working alongside the Design System Tech Lead and a dedicated team of engineers, you will evolve a design system that enables autonomous product teams to build faster while delivering a consistent experience across the platform.
This role will be based in our Oslo office and will report to the VP Product Design as part of the Product Design team.

Fair Screening in our Recruitment process
To promote fairness and reduce unconscious bias, candidates are anonymised during the initial screening stage. This means applications are reviewed based on skills, experience, and relevance to the role – not personal characteristics. Once shortlisted, recruiters review the full candidate profile and engage directly with candidates throughout the process.
Use of AI
We use AI‑supported tools in parts of our recruitment process to help structure and summarise applications, support screening, and transcribe interviews. These tools assist our recruiters but do not make decisions on their own – all evaluations and hiring decisions are made by people.
